Your Perfect Pokémon Tales: Z-A Mega Evolution According to the Astrological Sign
The comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked widespread enthusiasm within the community. Starting with the gradual reveal of fresh additions ahead of the game's release, to players forming strong views on the full roster of new Megas, there's plenty for fans to anticipate.
With many of the Super Forms boasting distinctive designs that emphasize their personalities, one thought naturally: How can connect this with zodiac signs? The following is based on a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
Aries – Super Camerupt
To be truthful, Houndour's evolution was nearly selected for Aries, as they are the Super Form and astrological sign that inspire the greatest apprehension. But, a Mega Houndoom appears as always angry, which doesn't match the Aries vibe, known for being fun, cheerful, and impulsive. That's why Aries much more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely erupts when angered. Stay on the friendly side of either and benefit from a strong partner; should you offend them, prepare to get burned.
The Bull – Super Heracross
Much like a devoted Bull, the reliable Heracross species, both in its regular and Super Form, has assisted numerous trainers in Legends: Z-A. Though trustworthy, each the creature and a Bull are also Fighting types, and – whether it's their trainer or a strong opinion – will defend their side unwaveringly. What about Super Heracross that reminds me most of my Taurus friends, though, is its unashamed love of treats. Several previous official descriptions note their fondness for tasty sap and how it employs its horn to hoard it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.
The Twins – Super Medicham
Observe this total queen. You cannot tell me this Pokémon is not the life of every party, providing an constant fountain of chatter to anyone who wish to listen. Much like an captivating, sociable Gemini, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire Wild Zone with their stories. This Pokémon's official description also states its capacity to foresee an enemy’s future actions, which seems quite similar to a socially-savvy Twins.
Cancer – Mega Manectric
Cancer is widely considered as the most sensitive sign of the astrological wheel, a passionate sign known for frequently becoming absorbed in their feelings. According to the Pokédex, Mega Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “huge amount of electricity, but it's excessive for Manectric to fully control,” which sounds a lot like a typical Cancer crash-out. It is also known for its capability to make a storm cloud over its very self – and if there’s one thing a Crab is likely to do, it’s spoil their own parade.
Leo – Super Starmie
Oh, did you assume I was going to pick Pyroar for the lion of the stars? Besides the reality that it would be much too on the nose, Leo is clearly Mega Starmie, the diva whose gams just became an internet sensation for being extremely fabulous (or horrifying, based on your taste). Players were captivated from the violet sea star, and that’s precisely the same vibe a Lion offers to the scene. This Pokémon is also said to be broadcasting signals from its red core out into the cosmos, and it’s just like a Leo to be staging a performance, albeit for aliens.
The Maiden – Super Victreebel
The ever-prepared and perpetually-anxious Maiden is perfectly represented in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with constant digestive issues. The sign famous for being endearingly critical is strongly reflected throughout this creature's entire evolutionary chain, from a perpetually shocked expression like a Virgo when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its upside-down face that’s just like the emoji a Virgo posts to the chatroom when all says they want to “be spontaneous” instead of making a strategy.
The Scales – Super Audino
Observe this sweet, empathetic being, who uses the feelers on its ears to detect how others are emotionally by their heartbeat. Always empathetic – occasionally to a detriment – and striving to keep the peace, there are numerous Libras who would likely appreciate Super Audino's abilities. Though, to be frank, it would probably just make them stress more about everyone else.
The Scorpion – Super Banette
This Ghost-type is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic origin: Discarded as a doll, it gained consciousness through sheer hatred and vowed retribution on its former owner. Per the official info, Mega Evolution, “enhances its vindictiveness.” That seems precisely like several discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion friends. A Scorpio adores cosmic justice and retribution, making them the perfect pair with Super Banette.
Sagittarius – Mega Hawlucha
Both Super Hawlucha and Archers are constantly putting on a performance. As a Sagittarius myself, the number of occasions I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “flexes to display its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had some kind of Mega evolved form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Sagittarius match I can imagine.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Did you know that a Mega Absol has the ability to predict calamities ahead of time? That gives the exact same energy as a Goat, who tends to always think they’re correct. The thing is, much like a prophetic Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the absolute first Super Form that trainers meet in Legends: Z-A – typical of a Capricorn to get in on the ground floor of the Mega trend.
The Water Bearer – Super Chandelure
Detached element Water Bearer is possibly the non-flame sign that is most like a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are countless memes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being chaotic accomplices. Super Chandelure's double Ghost/Fire typing matches seamlessly with this, and the Mega’s overall daunting aura is also extremely Aquarius. If you hadn't yet persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “draws in negative energy and transforms it into power.” If that doesn’t perfectly {encaps
